Responsible Investing
More and more long-term investors, including foundations, are looking for social, environmental and financial returns on their investments. Foundations in particular are increasingly leveraging more of their invested assets in support of their missions.
CFC has been working actively since 2007 to support growing foundation interest in mission-related investing through a pilot project with leading foundations, education and training, participating in the creation of new investment vehicles and helping to shape the emerging field of social finance in Canada.
